Payment/s Stripe Information

  1. Once you send a request to a SchoolRunner you will be making the payment for the period selected (using your credit/debit card via the STRIPE platform).
  2. The SchoolRunner must then accept your booking request. If rejected or cancelled, the amount paid will be refunded (Stripe fees may apply).
  3. A request can be cancelled at any time by both parties. If the school run has not yet started, the parent will be fully refunded.
  4. If a SchoolRunner does not accept your booking request, it will be automatically cancelled and refunded on the start date.

Returns and cancellations SchoolRunTracker

When a payment is made, we place a hold/authorisation to ensure the SchoolRunner has sufficient time to approve your booking request. If this does not happen within the timeframe provided of 7 days (e.g. if the SchoolRunner rejects the request or you wish to cancel it), we will process a full refund of the withheld amount.

If the hold period (normally 7 days) has expired and the SchoolRunner has not accepted the request, we will automatically cancel it for you and refund the full amount.

If the SchoolRunner accepts the request, the payment will be processed. From that point onwards, any cancellation by you will result in the loss of Stripe's and SchoolRunTracker's payment handling fee and handling costs.

If the SchoolRunner accepts the payment, it will be processed. If the SchoolRunner then cancels before the booking starts, you will lose Stripe's commission that covers the payment management process. However, to compensate, SchoolRunTracker will discount this charge from your next booking.
